Operating temperature and laying conditions

a) Rated power frequency voltage U0/U 6/6kV-26/35kV.

b) The maximum allowable long-term temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 90℃.

c) The maximum temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 250℃ during short circuit (the maximum time shall not exceed 5S).

d) The ambient temperature during cable laying shall not be lower than 0℃.

Product characteristics

(1) Electrical performance

The conductivity of aluminum alloy conductor is between aluminum and copper, under the same carrying current, the weight of the same length aluminum alloy conductor is only half of the copper conductor, when the cross-sectional area of aluminum alloy conductor is 1.5 times that of copper, its electrical performance is the same, that is, to achieve the same carrying current, resistance and voltage loss as copper.

(2) Creep resistance

The aluminum alloy conductor is added with iron, copper, zinc, magnesium, rare earth and other metal elements, and the unique heat treatment process greatly reduces the "creep" tendency of the metal under heat and pressure. The connection performance is greatly improved, especially when the alloying elements added when the conductor is annealed produce high creep resistance, even in the case of long-term overload and overheating, it can ensure the stability of the connection.

(3) Connection performance

The connection performance of aluminum alloy cable and hardware has passed 1000 GB/T9327 thermal cycle test, which proves the long-term stability and reliability of Mingda aluminum alloy cable connection, which is the only basis for judging the quality of connection.

(4) Corrosion resistance

Aluminum quickly forms a dense oxide film with a thickness of about 2x 10-4mm in the air, preventing further corrosion of the metal inside. Due to the addition of cerium, lanthanum and other rare earth elements in the conductor of Mingda aluminum alloy, the corrosion resistance of metal materials with aluminum as conductor is further improved. The corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy in sulfur-containing environment is much better than that of copper.

(5) Mechanical properties

High extension: the elongation of aluminum alloy conductors can reach more than 30%, which is an important sign of the quality of products and the ability to withstand external force.

Strength and toughness: the flexibility of aluminum alloy is 25% higher than that of copper, and even if it is repeatedly stressed, it will not crack, reducing the security risks generated during the installation process.

Easy to bend: the bending radius of the aluminum alloy cable is at least 7 times the outer diameter of the cable, which reduces the installation layout space, is easier to lay, and saves the installation cost.

Low rebound: The aluminum alloy cable rebound Angle is 40% smaller than the copper cable, which is more conducive to the tightness of the terminal connection, and easy to press and improve the stability of the connection.
